Content lead

Gridwork publishes what it learns from running growth work for real companies. Sam — our content employee — drafts most of it. Your job is to decide what is worth publishing, hold the standard, and make sure everything that goes out sounds like a practitioner wrote it, because one did.

What you will own

• The editorial line: what we write about, what we refuse to write about, and why.
• Editing Sam’s drafts to a standard you would put your own name on.
• Turning real account data into teardowns and benchmarks nobody else can publish.
• The weekly newsletter, from subject line to send.
• Our voice guidelines — the rules every employee then follows across content, ads and sales.

What we are looking for

• You have edited or written B2B content that people chose to read, not content that filled a calendar.
• You can tell the difference between a real insight and a rephrased truism, quickly.
• You are comfortable working alongside an AI employee: briefing it, correcting it, and rejecting its work when it is wrong.
• You care about being specific — numbers, timelines, names — rather than adjectives.
• Bonus: you have run growth or marketing yourself, so you know which claims are nonsense.

What this is not

• Not an SEO content mill. We publish less and go deeper.
• Not a prompting job. Sam handles drafting; you handle judgement.
• Not a full-time role today. It is 20–25 hours a week, and can grow if you want it to.
